Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Striiva account and personal data at any time — from inside the app, or by request if you no longer have it installed.

1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Striiva app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is erased as described below.

2. Don't have the app? Request deletion

If you've uninstalled the app, email privacy@striiva.com from the email address or with the phone number registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my Striiva account". We verify it's really you (via an OTP to your registered number or email) and then erase your data. No account or app login is required to make the request.

3. What we delete

On deletion we permanently remove or irreversibly anonymize your personal data, including:

  • Your name, email, phone number, profile photo, city, bio, and date of birth
  • Your device push-notification tokens
  • KYC documents you submitted (PAN / Aadhaar / GST details and any uploaded photos or live selfie)
  • Your saved bank / payout account details
  • Your reviews and other content that identifies you (anonymized or removed)

4. What we must keep (and why)

A limited set of records is retained only where Indian law requires it, and is disassociated from your identity wherever possible:

  • Financial transaction records (payments, refunds, payouts, invoices) — retained for the period required under the Income-tax Act, GST law, and anti-money-laundering rules. These are kept in a de-identified form and are not used to contact or profile you.
  • Records needed to resolve an ongoing dispute, chargeback, or legal claim, until it is concluded.

Once the statutory retention period ends, these records are deleted too.

5. Timeline

In-app deletions take effect immediately; by-request deletions are completed within 30 days of us verifying your identity. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — to use Striiva again you would need to create a new account.
